What PassPath UAE is
PassPath UAE is a study and planning companion for the UAE driving licence, starting with Dubai’s RTA Knowledge Test. It is independent: it is not an official test and is not run by or connected to the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Police, the Ministry of Interior, any driving institute or any other authority. Rules, fees and dates change — always check the official sources before you book or pay.
Important notice
PassPath UAE provides education and information about getting a driving licence in the UAE. It is not connected to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai Police, any driving institute or any other official body. The information is general guidance, not official or legal advice. Requirements, fees and procedures change and differ between emirates: before any important step, check with the RTA or your emirate’s licensing authority. Official information always takes priority. In short: PassPath UAE guides you; the official bodies set the rules and requirements.
Our questions
Every question and explanation is written by us from the UAE traffic law, the official violations table and RTA material. They are not copied from any official question bank or handbook, and the hazard scenarios are our own written descriptions, not RTA clips. You may use them for your own study; please do not copy, publish or resell them.
Sources and credits
We use Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2024 on traffic, the Ministerial Resolution on traffic violations, RTA service pages and the RTA handbook “Driving Safely in Dubai” as sources; we do not reproduce their text — we recommend reading the RTA handbook alongside this app. Road sign images come from Wikimedia Commons (public domain, CC0 and CC BY 4.0; details in the app under Help). Photos come from Wikimedia Commons contributors; their names and licences are listed in the app under Help.
Subscriptions
PassPath UAE is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (weekly, monthly or every 3 months). New subscribers may get a lower price for the first period; after that the standard price shown in the store applies. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage and cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. Each country in PassPath is a separate subscription.
Community
If you post in Community you agree to the Community rules. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users: we remove posts and suspend accounts that break the rules.
Accuracy and responsibility
PassPath UAE is a study aid. It is not legal advice and not an official source. We write it from UAE federal law and official RTA material and review it regularly, but we cannot guarantee that every question, fee, date or figure is complete, correct or up to date. Always check with the RTA or your emirate’s licensing authority before you book, pay or act. You are responsible for how you drive and for meeting every legal requirement.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss caused by errors or omissions — for example a missed appointment or a test you have to rebook — and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for PassPath UAE in the 12 months before your claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under UAE consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
If you find a mistake, please tell us using the contact below and we will correct it.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, where PassPath UAE is made, without taking away the protection of UAE consumer protection law. Questions: karakusufuk@gmail.com. On iPhone, Apple's standard licence agreement (EULA) also applies.
