What PassPath AU is

PassPath AU is a study and planning companion for Australian learner and driver licences. It is independent: it is not an official test and is not run by or connected to Transport for NSW, VicRoads or any other state or territory licensing authority. Rules, fees and waiting times change — always check the official sources before you book or pay.

Important notice

PassPath AU provides education and information about getting a driver licence in Australia. It is not connected to any state or territory licensing authority or any other official body. The information is general guidance, not official or legal advice. Requirements and procedures change and differ between states and territories: before any important step, check with your state or territory licensing authority. Official information always takes priority. In short: PassPath AU guides you; the official bodies set the rules and requirements.

Our questions

Every question and explanation is written by us from the Australian Road Rules, state and territory road laws and the official handbooks. They are not copied from any official question bank. You may use them for your own study; please do not copy, publish or resell them.

Sources and credits

We use the Australian Road Rules and each state's road law and handbook as sources. Some official material is published under Creative Commons, including Your keys to driving in Queensland (© State of Queensland, CC BY 4.0) and The Driver's Handbook of South Australia (© Government of South Australia, CC BY 3.0 AU). Road sign images come from Wikimedia Commons (mostly public domain; details in the app under Help). State photos come from Wikimedia Commons contributors; their names and licences are listed in the app under Help.

Subscriptions

PassPath AU is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (weekly, monthly or every 3 months). New subscribers may get a lower price for the first period; after that the standard price shown in the store applies. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage and cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. Each country in PassPath is a separate subscription.

Community

If you post in Community you agree to the Community rules. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users: we remove posts and suspend accounts that break the rules.

Accuracy and responsibility

PassPath AU is a study aid. It is not legal advice and not an official source. We write it from the Australian Road Rules, state and territory law and official handbooks and review it regularly, but we cannot guarantee that every question, fee, date or figure is complete, correct or up to date. Always check with your state or territory licensing authority before you book, pay or act. You are responsible for how you drive and for meeting every legal requirement.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss caused by errors or omissions — for example a missed appointment or a test you have to rebook — and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for PassPath AU in the 12 months before your claim. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

If you find a mistake, please tell us using the contact below and we will correct it.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, where PassPath AU is made, without taking away the protection of the Australian Consumer Law. Questions: karakusufuk@gmail.com. On iPhone, Apple's standard licence agreement (EULA) also applies.
