What PassPath CA is
PassPath CA is a study and planning companion for Canadian learner and driver's licences. It is independent: it is not an official test and is not run by or connected to the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario, ServiceOntario, DriveTest, ICBC, Alberta registry agents or any other licensing authority. Rules, fees and waiting times change — always check the official sources before you book or pay. In short: PassPath CA guides you; the official bodies set the rules and requirements.
Important notice
PassPath CA provides education and information about getting a driver's licence in Canada. The information is general guidance, not official or legal advice. Requirements and procedures change and differ between provinces: before any important step, check with your province's licensing authority. Official information always takes priority.
Our questions
Every question and explanation is written by us from provincial road laws and the official handbooks. They are not copied from any official question bank or handbook. You may use them for your own study; please do not copy, publish or resell them.
Sources and credits
We use the Highway Traffic Act (Ontario), the Motor Vehicle Act (British Columbia), the Traffic Safety Act (Alberta), the Criminal Code and the official handbooks as sources; we do not reproduce their text. Road sign images come from Wikimedia Commons (mostly public domain). Province photos come from Wikimedia Commons contributors; their names and licences are listed in the app under Help.
Plans and payment
Plans renew automatically at the price shown until you cancel. Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date. The introductory price is available once per person. There is no free trial. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. Each country in PassPath is a separate subscription.
Community
If you post in Community you agree to the Community rules. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users: we remove posts and suspend accounts that break the rules.
Accuracy and responsibility
In short: PassPath CA guides you; the official bodies set the rules and requirements.
PassPath CA is a study aid. It is not legal advice and not an official source. We write it from provincial law and the official handbooks and review it regularly, but we cannot guarantee that every question, fee, date or figure is complete, correct or up to date. Always check with your province's licensing authority before you book, pay or act. You are responsible for how you drive and for meeting every legal requirement.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss caused by errors or omissions — for example a missed appointment or a test you have to rebook — and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for PassPath CA in the 12 months before your claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the consumer protection law of your province, or liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
If you find a mistake, please tell us using the contact below and we will correct it.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, where PassPath CA is made, without taking away the protection of the consumer law of your province. Questions: karakusufuk@gmail.com. On iPhone, Apple's standard licence agreement (EULA) also applies.
