What PassPath is

PassPath is a study and planning companion for Irish driving licences. It is independent: it is not the official theory test and is not run by or connected to the Road Safety Authority (RSA), Prometric or the NDLS. Fees, rules and waiting times change — always check the official sources before you book or pay.

Important notice

PassPath provides education and information about getting a driving licence in Ireland. It is not connected to the RSA, the NDLS, Prometric or any other official body. The information is general guidance, not official or legal advice. Requirements and procedures change: before any important step, check with the relevant official body. Official information always takes priority. In short: PassPath guides you; the official bodies set the rules and requirements.

Our questions

Every question and explanation is written by us from the Rules of the Road and Irish law. They are not copied from the official question bank. You may use them for your own study; please do not copy, publish or resell them.

Subscriptions

Plans renew automatically at the price shown until you cancel. Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date. The introductory price is available once per person. There is no free trial. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules.

Test centre figures

Pass rates and waiting times come from Road Safety Authority statistics published by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) under CC BY 4.0. They describe the past and do not predict your result.

Community

If you post in Community you agree to the Community rules. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users: we remove posts and suspend accounts that break the rules.

Accuracy and responsibility

PassPath is a study aid. It is not legal advice and not an official source. We write it from the Rules of the Road, Irish law and official statistics and review it regularly, but we cannot guarantee that every question, fee, date or figure is complete, correct or up to date. Always check with the RSA, the NDLS or another official source before you book, pay or act. You are responsible for how you drive and for meeting every legal requirement.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss caused by errors or omissions — for example a missed appointment or a test you have to rebook — and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for PassPath in the 12 months before your claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or limits any right you have under Irish or EU consumer law.

If you find a mistake, please tell us using the contact below and we will correct it.
