What TaxiPass is
TaxiPass is a study companion for the Irish Small Public Service Vehicle (SPSV) Driver Entry Test. It is independent: it is not the official test and is not run by or connected to the National Transport Authority (NTA), An Garda Síochána or the Revenue Commissioners. Fees, rules and procedures change — always check the official sources before you book or pay.
Important notice
TaxiPass provides education and information about the SPSV (taxi, hackney and limousine) licence process in Ireland. It is not connected to the National Transport Authority (NTA), An Garda Síochána or any other official body. The information is general guidance, not official or legal advice. Requirements and procedures change: before any important step, check with the NTA or the relevant official body. Official information always takes priority. In short: TaxiPass guides you; the official bodies set the rules and requirements.
Our questions
Every question and explanation is written by us from Irish law (including the Taxi Regulation Act 2013 and the SPSV regulations) and from public map data. They are not copied from the official test. You may use them for your own study; please do not copy, publish or resell them.

If you post in Community you agree to the Community rules. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users: we remove posts and suspend accounts that break the rules.
